Crushing on lamps;)

I fell in love with these lamps {on either end} months ago but couldn't see spending $70 a piece for these babies... sad but true so i've been on the hunt {literally} for some updated table lamps for our master bedroom.

Seriously this picture was back in september..lol so i feel like I've been patient and I've seen a bunch of nice ones since then. But I waited and waited some more for the right ones at the right price:) considering the husbands feelings.  I quote " whats wrong with the lamps we have?"....End quote.

What I have to say too that....BOO.

I was in Walmart recently and happened to walk up on this beauty! OMG doesn't this look familiar??
I spotted the same style in TjMaxx FOREVER ago and THESE were $29.99 a piece! {What?!?}

All I can say is Thank you Better Homes and Garden for making these affordable lamps at Walmart of all places.. Im one happy girl! But it was just my luck they had JUST one at not one but two different stores{yes, I did pout the rest of the day...}. CRAP CRAP AND MORE CRAP.... Anyway I chopped it up to "not meant to be". God forbid I get one and then they stop selling  the darn thing then im stuck with mismatched boogers.

So I stewed on this for about two weeks and one morning before work I looked up my beloved lamp on the Walmart app. Too my surprise they had them sold as a set for $59.99! So before I could talk myself out of it I ordered them! SUCCESS! Oh forgot to mention we had a gift card from christmas for $50 so we only ended up spending $14 out of pocket after tax! Hello FREE shipping:)...  now THAT  was meant to be!!
Now all they need are large white drum shades and they will be perfect in our master;) I love it when a plan comes together!

I have to say im loving the update! Our room just feels so comfy and inviting. I'll save the white drum shades for a day i'm running around town, if I can find them for a good price.

All i can think of is Anchorman ;) I LOVE LAMP!!!!!!!

Bathroom UPDATE

Im seriously addicted to pinterest, With that said I found this Urban Outfitters rug and of course I pinned it knowing I could fit it somewhere in the house{because its AMAZING}.

But its more than I wanted to spend and didn't have a for sure spot for it... so I waited for a sale.lol fast forward 8 months...

Super excited, I stumbled onto the big flower print rug ON sale this week and grabbed it for $29.99 which made me pretty happy:).

Kallie was pretty excited too..sick or not she apprieciated the Bold/Colorful print rug that found a home in my bathroom! She plopped right down and played with Snow White while I got ready for work the next day. It made my heart happy my little likes home decor. What can I say the kid has excellent taste;)

I have't really done anything to our bathroom besides replace the big honken mirrors with pretty framed ones! But I have a few updates in mind.
*First thing on my list are floating shelves in-between the Framed mirrors like this..

             *Hanging Towel holder
             *Hanging some bright colored art.

But this is a good start as far as colors go and general decorating. So I'll make sure to post all new update on the master in decorating and organizing!

Empty frames..

Well we have had empty frames over our bed for like 7 months now and honestly haven't bothered me. I have looked and nothing has caught my attention so i was ok with leaving them bare.. until tonight.lol My husband and daughter are sick and I am bord out of my mind so I decided to "Phase one" them. In other words fill them until I find prints that I love;) So I had random scrapbook paper and decided they would do the trick plus cure my boredom.
We went to Ikea in June and I got these Beautiful Ribba Frames specifically for above the headboard in the master bedroom, but once they were up I had no desire to fill them.. Sad but true. I just couldnt' find anything that said "hang me". But tonight I was bite by the boredom bug and resorted to messing with scrapbook paper. I know exciting Life! With my husband and daughter sick and dead to the world... why not put something in those gorgeous frames;)

Not bad.. right! I was pretty pleased with "phase one" with my Frames ;)

Although I have been dying to get a new comforter set and Lamps, I can deal for now...

This is kind what I have in mind as an Upgrade.
Trina Turk Trellis Bedding  and these wonderful style lamps at tjmaxx ( the matching lamps on the outside) drool.. I LOVE THEM!

funny though walmart has the same ones for $29.99 instead of $69.99 each.

so hopefully we'll be making some little upgrades to our master bedroom soon.
